Workers in Witham put on their fluorescent jackets to help clean up an industrial estate.
Members of Witham Industrial Watch armed themselves with litter pickers to tidy up an area of the Eastways Industrial Estate as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean challenge.
The aim was to make a special effort to clear litter and help make the estate more attractive for everyone who works there.

Staff from EA-RS Fire Engineering pledged to collect at least 20 bags of rubbish which made a significant difference in the Eastways estate.
HG & Co organised a litter picking session and collected more than 77kg of rubbish in one hour.

Operations director Liz Lown said:"Talking to the teams who took part they said they actually enjoyed getting out and helping as they were keen to give something back to the community.
"We found that the people taking part in the litter pick now have a greater awareness of any litter they spot and we hope there will be regular litter picks on the estate to ensure the areas are kept clean."
