A Braintree restaurant received a five-star food and hygiene rating following an inspection.
Family-run business Sconch Tea Rooms, owned by Hugh and Sam Conway, who took over the craft centre's restaurant in 2020 and fully renovated the inside of the 17th-Century barn, received a five-star food and hygiene rating after an inspection.
The owners moved their existing yard shop to the site, converting the space at Blake House Craft Centre into a friendly and welcoming craft shop and tea room, which has become a regular meeting place for crafters, bikers and cyclists.
