AN adorable cat is looking for a home as he continues to build his trust and confidence.
The Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield is looking to find domestic shorthair Boots his forever home.
The 12-year-old has been working with staff to settle into cattery life and come out of his shell.
A spokesman said: "Our big boy Boots is looking for a home where he can build his confidence and learn to trust.
"It is taking him a while to settle into life in the cattery and hands-on interaction causes him to become defensive.
"We are spending time with him every day to build a relationship with him and create positive associations.
"He will need a quiet home and set up with owners who have the understanding and experience needed to work with a scared and shut down cat like Boots, as well as the time to spend with him to build a bond.
"If you think you can give Boots the perfect home and can help him come out of his shell and show all he has to offer, then please fill out an interest form for him."
