AN adorable guinea pig who is rebuilding his confidence after being found as a stray is now looking for a forever home.
The Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield is appealing for a new family to come forward for nine-month old Kodi.
A spokesman said: “Kodi is looking for a new home after being transferred here from another RSPCA centre.
“He was found as a stray so we don’t have any previous history on him, but this experience has left him quite shy and timid with his human handlers.
“We are sure with patience and understanding, and a few hand-fed treats, he will blossom in the right home.
“His confidence is already growing every day he is with us."
Danaher also offers sponsorships for animals if you cannot adopt.
The spokesman added: “Please consider sponsoring or part-sponsoring an animal whilst they in our care to help find them the perfect loving home they deserve faster, also enabling us to help even more animals.”
