A CRASH is causing heavy congestion following the closure of a busy road.
An accident involving two cars has been reported in Oak Road between Henry Dixon Road and Rickstones Road in Rivenhall.

As a result of the smash the road has been closed in both directions, which is understood to be causing traffic chaos.
The congestion is also causing severe delays between Great Totham and Silver End.
