A POPULAR petting farm is now home to "charming" new four-legged friends - and they are already stealing the hearts of visitors.
Stantons Farm, in Witham Road, Black Notley, has welcomed a selection of new animal arrivals.
Among the adorable newcomers are two eight-month-old Short Legged Dexter cows, who are expected to grow another 10cm taller.
They currently stand at about 100cm, making them the smallest breed of cow in the UK.

The farm's workers ecstatic about the arrival of these delightful girls, who have quickly become the talk of the town.
Known for their gentle and friendly temperament, the Short-Legged Dexter cows are perfect for interacting with children during the farm's educational and fun-filled activities.
A spokesman from Stantons Farm said: "Having the Short-Legged Dexter cows here has been an absolute joy.
"They are not only adorable but also incredibly docile and well-mannered."
The farm has also added to its menagerie with the introduction of two Black Nose Valais sheep, lovingly referred to as 'Teddy Bear Sheep'.

Otto and Sprout, the latest woolly duo, have proven to be a big hit with visitors.
Known for their affectionate and dog-like demeanour, these sheep have quickly bonded with farm staff and guests alike.
As if that wasn't enough, staff members have also welcomed Duncan, a rescue pony, to the petting farm.
