A MAN has been charged with drink driving following an incident at a supermarket in Braintree.
Essex Police officers were at Tesco in Marks Farm on Saturday evening dealing with a theft incident.
Whilst in the store, they were alerted by security to a man who appeared intoxicated and was suspected to have driven to the shop.
The force subsequently arrested a man on suspicion of drink driving offences before being charged with drink driving.
He is now due to appear in court.
