A NEW store celebrated a “tremendous” opening day as it was welcomed to Braintree Village.
Leading cookware specialist ZWILLING opened its doors last Friday to a group of “busy and excited customers”.
Founded in 1731, the business offers a range of the finest modern kitchen products.
The shop in Braintree Village offers the “full breadth of category-leading products for the aspiring home chef”.
In the assortment, the store has everything from kitchen knives, cookware and cutlery to small electricals, food storage, kitchen accessories and more.
Speaking on the opening day, head of retail Simon Rowland said: “It is extremely exciting to open a ZWILLING shop in Braintree Village and especially good to be part of the dramatic modernisation of the shop fronts.
“The new premium look and feel of the centre is perfectly in line with ZWILLING.
“Braintree has been one of the key locations where we wanted to open a store, so it's great to have worked with the team to make that a reality.”
The opening day was a big success, with customers flocking to the store to get a taste of some top kitchenware products.
Mr Rowland said: “The shop opened its doors to a busy and excited group of customers.
“The opening day was tremendous.
“Customers really responded to our products across a variety of categories, helped by our strong opening offers on knife blocks, cookware sets and our award-winning fresh and save vacuum food storage range with the starter sets selling out over the weekend.
“We had more than 2,500 visitors in the first three days.”
Mr Rowland added: “Over the coming days, months and years we hope to welcome more new customers to our shop to inspire them to start their life-long passion for ZWILLING products.
“We plan to offer a professional knife sharpening service in store beginning later this year, and there will always be fresh, new special offers to ensure that we're always offering fantastic value on great quality kitchenware.”
