A PAIR of adorable male guinea pig pals are in search of a new nest together.
The Danaher Animal Shelter in Wethersfield is hoping to find a forever home for Chewbacca and Mowhawk.
Chewbacca, aged two, and one-year-old Mohawk are described as a “very bonded pair” of male adult neutered guinea pigs.
A spokesman said: “They would love a new home or hutch with lots of love and treats, as well as a nice outside run to play in and eat grass, which is their favourite hobby.
“They have always lived together as a pair, so would be better homed as the only guinea pigs.
“They are a beautiful dear little pair of boys that would make a brilliant adoption for anyone wanting to home them.”

The spokesman added: “Not able to adopt, but would like to help Chewbacca and Mohawk find their perfect forever home?
“Please consider sponsoring or part-sponsoring Chewbacca and Mohawk whilst they in our care to help find them the perfect loving home they deserve faster, also enabling us to help even more animals.”
