POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Dunmow.

Officers were called to The Broadway in Dunmow at around 5pm on Wednesday, August 16, following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.

Sadly, the motorcyclist died at the scene.

His family have been informed and are receiving support.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the collision.

Police are urging anyone who was in the vicinity of the collision, as well as nearby drivers with dashcam footage, to get in contact quoting incident 1024 of August 16.
