A PLAYFUL young dog is looking for a new home where she can “thrive and flourish”.

The Danaher Animal Home, in Wethersfield, is looking to find a new home for one-year-old German Shepherd cross Lila.

A spokesman said: “Our stunning shepherd Lila is looking for a home where she can thrive and flourish.

“She is super friendly and full of energy. Some of her favourite games are fetch and tug and splashing around in our dog pool.

“When she isn't busy playing games she enjoys nothing more than relaxing in your company, lounging on a spot of grass in the sun.”

They continued: “Lila is really sweet-natured and would be suitable for a family with older children, and some previous shepherd experience.

“She does need some more training around containing her excitement around other dogs.

“She is still young and has a lot to learn and would need ongoing lead and socialising training to contain that excitement.

“Lila may also need to re-learn what a home is about, and she would love a garden space of her own to enjoy at home.”
