A ONCE stray dog is in search of a family to give her a forever home.
Two to three-year-old Nadia came into the Danaher Animal Shelter as a stray.
Nadia, who is a female neutered Anatolian shepherd, is now looking for her new home.
A spokesman said: “She came into us as a stray, so we are unsure if she has ever lived in a home, but she is showing signs of toilet training awareness so this should hopefully just need refresher training.
“Due to having no previous history on Nadia we are looking for an adult-only home.
“She walks beautifully on the lead, but does become very strong if she sees wildlife or a cat, and for this reason she cannot be homed with cats.
“Nadia can be picky with dogs so we advise she would need to be the only dog in the home.
“We are ideally looking for someone with previous shepherd or big breed experience.
“If you feel there is a Nadia-sized space in your home, we invite you to submit an interest form to us.”
