A NIGHT of laughter with top comedians is coming back to a popular venue in the new year.
The Best in Comedy show returns at Witham Public Hall in February with another superb line-up.
Headlining is comedian, writer, actress and even Soccer Aid star Maisie Adam.
The Yorkshire comedian has won praise up and down the country for her anecdotal material and witty charm.
She has also been nominated for or won a number of awards, including the Amused Moose National New Comic winner and So You Think You're Funny award.
Fresh from Live at The Apollo, A League of Their Own, Mock The Week and The Last Leg, best newcomer nominee Maisie Adam is back with brand new material.
The 29-year-old's stand-up will be packed with witty observations, high-octane energy and some "right good jokes".
Also on the line-up is Glenn Wool.
Glenn is one of the top names on the UK and European comedy circuits.
His impressive array of TV credits include The John Bishop Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Russell Howard’s Good News.
"Wool tackles a wide range of subjects from religious fundamentalism to current world politics and does it in such a way that you hardly notice that that is what you are listening to," one reviewer wrote.
Matt Bragg is also taking to the Witham stage.
He has a unique, low-energy, deadpan style, with meticulously crafted material and has been gaining critical acclaim from audiences, promoters and comedians alike.
As well as performing at some of the largest clubs in the UK, he has supported Ricky Gervais, Harry Hill, Suzi Ruffell, Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour.
Last but not least is Irish comedian Keith Farnan.
Best known for his appearance on BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, stand-up comedian Keith is an engaging and sharp-witted performer who personifies Irish charm.
The show is on February 2, with doors opening at 7.15pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets are £17.50 and can be purchased by calling 0345 017 8717 or at the Visitor Information Centre at Witham Town Hall.
