A PAIR of shy kittens are looking for their first forever home together.
Hammy and Shine are living at the Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield.
The home says the eight-month-old kittens are ready to “throw themselves headfirst" into a new home and start the next stages of their lives together.
A spokesman said: “They are a bonded boy and girl, who are both neutered, but would like to be homed together.
“They are very shy and would need a really slow approach to their new home, with lots of time to let them slowly come out of their shells.
“We hope with the right quiet home their confidence will soon grow.
“Shine is already making strides in the friendliness department and doesn't mind a gentle stroke or two from her trusted human pals.
“Hammy, on the other hand, is a bit of an independent spirit for now, preferring to build trust from a respectful distance.
“This isn't to say he won't come around - with patience and love, he's sure to become a loyal companion.
“Adopting Shine and Hammy means you'll have the unique opportunity to watch them unfold and blossom within the warmth of your care.”
