A MEDIC-LED cosmetics and beauty clinic has opened its doors in Braintree.
The Nuovo Clinic, in Freeport Office Village, celebrated its launch event on Saturday.
Between 1pm and 5pm, residents were invited to visit the clinic, to meet its Director Tiffany Parradine and her eight nurse practitioners.
The business focuses on providing aesthetic and beauty experiences in its ‘cutting-edge clinic.’
According to Tiffany, Saturday’s launch event was a superb way to celebrate.
She said: “It is unbelievable, we are so excited that the doors are finally now open.
“The event was a great success, we had multiple individuals wanting to come in and meet the practitioners, they had consultations.
“We are pleased, it was a really good turnout of men and woman who were interested in the treatments available.
“It was a great way for us to showcase the clinic and the hard work we have put in.”
The Nuovo Clinic is offering many different treatments already, such as dermal fillers which are predominately used on the face for lip or jaw enhancements.
The business also offers sunbeds, skin boosters, multiple anti-ageing treatments, and the clinic is an official provider of the hydrafacial machine.
The piece of equipment has multiple functions, it can be used to help fight skin concerns or be used in hair loss treatments.
The Nuovo Clinic boss, who is from Little Dunmow, is not a medical professional but her team is made up of those who have hands on experience in nursing.
She said: “We are medic-led, we have years of hands-on experience in nursing and care, the level of education we have; our lead practitioner is a level seven aesthetics practitioner, qualified teacher, and nurse prescriber.
“Anyone who has worked for the NHS will know it is all about care, quality, compliance, and that is truly what we have built here.
“We’re passionate about medical recognition, so we are in the process of getting our Save Face accreditation.
“We are really going to be using it to educate our customers as well as treat them, I think that is very different from what is out there.
“We want to educate them on the pros and cons, what will get them the results they want, if a treatment is suitable for their skin, and more.”
