A CO-OP in Braintree is hosting a monthly Coffee with Cops event.
The events will take place at the Co-op's Rayne Road funeral home.
People in the community will have the chance to meet with their community support officers, ask questions and share any information they feel they need to know, or just enjoy a cup of tea with some friendly faces in a warm and safe space.
A spokesman said: “There will be tea, coffee, squash and a wide variety of biscuits available provided by Co-op.”
The branch’s funeral director will also be available to answer questions that Braintree residents have about the funeral process, where to start and bereavement help for after the funeral.
The sessions will run for an hour and a half.
The first will be held on Monday, February 12, from 10am to 11.30am.
