A pizza chain has announced the new opening date for its takeaway in Braintree.
Domino’s is opening its new store next to Tesco in Notley Green, Great Notley, at the site of a former dry cleaners.
The store was originally due to launch on November 27 2023, but the opening has been delayed.
Ricky Kandola, operations director at the SK Group, said: “We’re excited to come to the village of Great Notley, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.
“We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Great Notley can grow and develop their careers.
“Over 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”
The store will create 25 jobs and is recruiting delivery drivers and cyclists, offering flexible working shifts.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on March 4, at 11am, when customers are invited to meet the new store team and try freshly made pizza.
The store will be giving out Golden Tickets on the weekend before the opening day to win one of 200 free pizzas.
During the opening week, the store will also be running special delivery and collection deals for customers, as well as a special deal where £1 of every order will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
