ONE lane is closed on the M11 causing very slow traffic this morning.
Traffic was previously stopped on the M11 in Essex northbound between Junction 8 for Stansted Airport) and Junction 9 for Great Chesterford.
The stoppage came after a crash. Emergency services were called to the scene.
Two cars were reportedly involved with an oil spillage occurring too.
Both lanes were temporarily closed, however traffic has since been released.
Lane 2 remains closed, with lane 1 now open.
Long delays remain on the approach, with drivers advised to allow for extra journey time.
