DELAYS were caused for drivers after three vehicles were involved in a crash on a major road.
Police were called to reports of a collision at 8.45am on Thursday, February 29 on the A12 between Latneys (Witham South) and Junction 22 (Witham North).
No one was reported as injured as a result of the incident.
Road users were stuck in miles of traffic on the northbound carriageway. Traffic returned to normal by 10.30am after nearly two hours of delays.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called to the A12 near Witham at around 8:45am on February, 29 following a collision involving three vehicles.
"Those involved were not injured and traffic was relieved shortly afterwards."
