AN animal shelter is hoping to find a young dog his new forever home.
Three-year-old German shepherd Angus is currently at the Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield.
A spokesman said: "He sadly has not had the best of starts but with an experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue his training at home, we feel he would make a super companion.
"He is a champ with his halt but is still very strong on the lead so would need someone able to cope with his strength.
"He is picky with his dog companions, so we feel he would be best as the only dog in his new home.
"Angus loves to play and learn, and is very bright and willing. He just needs reminding of some basic training in the home.
"As with all dogs from Danaher Animal Home, he will be neutered microchipped de-flead wormed and vaccinated when adopted."
