A new convenience store has applied for a licence to sell alcohol.
Jeffreys Convenience Store, in Jeffrey’s Road, Cressing, has applied for an alcohol licence from Braintree District Council.
If it is successful, the business will be able to sell alcohol for off-premises each day of the week, from 6am until 11pm.
The convenience store is located at 63 in Jeffrey’s Road, a 47sq metre unit which was advertised on Savill estate agents’ website.
The unit was previously rented by the Beauty Studio.
A decision is yet to be made on the application.
Anyone wanting to comment on the application can do so in writing to Braintree District Council’s licensing officer at Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, Essex, CM7 9HB.
