A POLICE probe has been launched after a masked thug emptied an entire till during a robbery incident at a village Co-op store.
Officers are investigating the robbery at a store in Silver End.
On Wednesday, February 14, at around 9.40pm, a masked raider holding a metal baton entered the Co-op store in Broadway demanding staff open the till.
The crook left the store with the entire till drawer and its cash contents.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police say the suspect was dressed in all black with a Firetrap hoodie, Nike joggers, white trainers and a camouflaged balaclava.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us,” a spokesman added.
