A POLICE officer serving in Suffolk has been charged with several offences alleged to have taken place in Essex.
Andrew Bedding, 28, from Ipswich, has been charged with coercive control in Witham on January 1, 2018 and on July 1, 2019.
A second charge related to an incident in February 2019 in Braintree as well as a third in Halstead on April 1, 2022.
Additionally, he has been charged with one count of theft in Basildon on February 1, 2022.
Suffolk Police confirmed Bedding is currently suspended from duties.
He is due to appear before Colchester Magistrates' Court on April 4.
