A POPULAR shopping village is holding an event later this month where customers can get money off designer brands.

Braintree Village, on Charter Way, is hosting a three-day VIP discounts event from 26 to April 28.

Over the course of the weekend, shoppers will be able to enjoy extra discounts at fashion retailers such as Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

Stores including kitchenware brand Le Creuset and sportswear business Under Armour will also be taking part.

Centre boss Josef O’Sullivan said: “Our VIP discount events are a great way for our guests to enjoy even greater savings on outlet prices.

“Whether our guests are looking to refresh their wardrobes and homes for spring, or simply treat themselves, our VIP event is the perfect occasion.

“We’re looking forward to revealing the incredible discounts on offer from our brand partners in the coming weeks.”

This comes after Braintree Village had its plans approved by Braintree District Council to renovate one of its units in effort to "revitalise" the village and boost investment.
