A POPULAR shopping village is bringing back its summer fair event for visitors.
Petersfield Village, in Gosfield, will be holding the event later this year, with a variety of fun and games for visitors.
A spokesman said: "The dog show will be returning, alongside lots of local small businesses are attending with crafts, bakes and goodies.
"There will also be bouncy castles and kids rides, plus face painting, games and a summer scavenger hunt.
"The Fox in the Stables tea room will be serving lunches, cakes and light bites, and the antiques centre and shops will all be open."
There are a few stall spaces still available, with spaces for craft stalls, animals, hair braiding and dog related stalls.
For stall enquiries, contact Frankie Lancee at info@lanceeeventhire.co.uk.
Originally a working farm, the site was transformed into an antique shopping village by owner Michael Butler in 2005, but the site suffered greatly in the pandemic.
Halstead businessmen John Potter and Charles Dawson, alongside the Butler family, took on the day-to-day running of the village in 2022.
It has been on the up and thriving ever since.
The Petersfield Summer Fair returns on Saturday, July 13 from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free.
