A man has been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a tractor in Stisted.
A motorcyclist in his 20s and a tractor were in a collision in Back Lane, at 1pm today.
The motorcyclist was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge by helicopter.
Essex Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue, and the East of England Ambulance Service all attended the scene.
Essex Police said no arrests have been made.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called just after 1.50pm with reports of a collision between a motorbike and a tractor on Back Lane, near Stisted.
"An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle, the hazardous area response team and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"The motorcyclist, an adult man, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment.”
Charlie Abbott is a photographer who tracks air ambulances and planes, who went to the scene of the incident at 2pm after noticing an East Anglian Air Ambulance was heading to the area.
He said: "Once I found out the air ambulance had landed I had gone down there to take a look and also took some photos.
"Once I walked round the corner arriving at the scene it was a pure shock to see so many police cars and ambulances.
"My thoughts go out to the person and family involved."
A spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue said: "There wasn't anybody trapped thankfully, so our crews worked to make the scene safe."
