A PUB has launched a unique new offering to customers by serving up champagne and artisan French cheeses.
The Pheasant, in Gestingthorpe, famed for its traditional pub offerings, is introducing a new menu called Champagne+Fromage.
It will see the combination of Growers Champagnes and artisan French cheeses and aims to revamp the traditional dining experience.
With its roots implanted in the rich culinary traditions of France, this fusion offers an elevated dining experience, seeking to pair these elements in a way never seen before.
Each champagne, handpicked from the renowned Growers Champagnes, is chosen for its unique character and the potential to harmonise and enhance the paired cheese's flavours.
Each cheese is crafted by small-scale, artisanal producers across France, ranging in robust Blues, creamy Camembert, aromatic goat cheeses, to nutty Comtés.
The Champagne+Fromage experience is a labour of passion, with each pairing designed to highlight both elements' distinct characteristics.
The result is described as a balanced tasting journey fit for whether you are a connoisseur of the world of champagne and cheese or new to it all.
Diana Doe, owner of The Pheasant, said: "We are thrilled to introduce Champagne+Fromage to our patrons.
"This new offering reflects our commitment to bringing unique and high-quality culinary experiences to Gestingthorpe.
"We believe that the combination of Growers Champagnes and artisan French cheeses will be a hit with our guests.
"With the Champagne+Fromage menu available alongside our traditional pub menu, we can cater to all tastes and preferences."
