THREE teenagers will stand trial before a crown court after a violent incident in Braintree.
Alfie Harper, Freddie-Lee Clarke, and a third defendant who cannot be named because he is under 18 appeared before Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, where they each denied one charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Harper, 20, of Broomhall Road, in Chelmsford, and Clark, 19, of Laurence Byrne Avenue in Stanway, and the third defendant will attend Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday, August 6 for a further hearing.
They were granted bail and told not to enter Braintree town centre.
Should the matter proceed to trial, it may not take place until next year.
