A MOTORBIKE rider is in a “serious condition” after a crash in Great Notley yesterday afternoon.
Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service were called to reports of a collision in Avenue East, Great Notley, shortly after 3.40pm yesterday afternoon, July 31.
They found a motorbike rider had collided with a lamppost, who was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance service said: “We were called at 3.40pm yesterday with reports of a collision at the junction of Bridge End Lane and the A131 in Great Notley.
“We sent Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, the Hazardous Area Response Team, an ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and a rapid response vehicle.
“One man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital by air ambulance in a serious condition.”
A spokesman from Essex Police said: “If you have any information or footage in relation to this incident, then please get us contact with us.”
