POLICE officers are on the scene of a “serious” crash this morning near Hylands Park.
Officers were called to the A414 at around 8.20am this morning, August 13, following a collision involving a motorbike and a lorry.
Emergency services remain on the scene and the road is currently closed between the Three Mile Hill Junction and Margaretting Road.
Police are advising road users to find an alternative route.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything or have any dashcam footage to contact us.
"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"Alternatively, you can call us on 101.
"Please cite incident 259 on August 13."
