A man wearing a Halloween-mask robbed a Witham supermarket, as detectives have picked up the investigation.
Essex Police were called to the Morrisons Daily in Newland Street on August 15 after receiving calls that a man had entered the store demanding staff to hand over money.
The man, who entered the shop at around 9.35pm, was armed with a knife, but thankfully, no one was injured during the incident.
The suspect ran off and took an unknown amount of cash, heading along Guithavon Street.
He is described as a man in his 40s, 5ft 8ins tall and of stocky build. During the incident he was wearing a black hooded top, jeans and a Halloween-type mask.
