A WOMAN who performed a sex act in the grounds of Braintree Town Hall has been jailed.
Court papers show Charlotte James, of no fixed abode, appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court last month to admit one count of outraging public decency.
It was alleged James, 28, performed the act in the public seating area of the gardens outside Braintree Town Hall in June last year.
After admitting the charge on July 31, she was imprisoned for six weeks for showing "a flagrant disregard for people”, court papers read.
James was also fined £154.
