An incident involving a motorcyclist in Braintree saw one person brought to hospital in the early afternoon.
Members of the public spotted a crash this afternoon on Coggeshall Road, which involved the rider of a motorcycle.
Another motorist had spotted the rider lying on the ground.
Emergency services confirmed the collision near the junction of Warley Close.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called around 1.30pm with reports of a road traffic collision between a motorbike and a car on the junction of Coggeshall Road and Warley Road in Braintree.
“An ambulance was sent to the scene and transported the motorcyclist, an adult man, to Broomfield Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
