A RETIREMENT home in Witham has raised more than £500 for cancer with a cake and coffee morning.

Mill Green Lodge on Ryland Drive took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Visitors and residents enjoyed coffee, delicious cakes and biscuits in the comfy Owners’ Lounge throughout the morning on Tuesday.

Churchill Living, which runs the care home, also donated £5 to Macmillan for each of the 60 visitors who attended.
