PLANS to turn a Stisted pub into short term lets has been announced, less than a year after its sold by owner.
Located in The Street, owner of the Onley Pub, Graham Kent, bought the business in 2013 in an effort to ‘to try to prevent it from becoming another casualty of a brewery pub closure’.
After almost a decade of business, Graham made the ‘difficult’ decision to close the pub and announced the news via social media.
Just 8 months on, plans to turn the old pub into short term let suites has been announced.
Proposed plans depict a two-story building with a basement.
The status of the proposal is still pending consideration.
