A DEDICATED hospice team has opened a home furniture shop in Witham town centre.
Farleigh Hospice has opened its new ‘Full Circle’ store in The Grove shopping centre, which offers a variety of home furniture including sofas, beds, dining tables, cabinets, tea sets, silverware and so much more, all at brilliant prices.
The shop opened at the start of this month, and in less than a week, the hospice team already saw many popular sofas and leather chairs sent off to their new homes.
Danielle Gadd, 51, from Great Totham, has worked for Farleigh Hospice for almost seven years and used to run the charity’s sister store in Newland Street for clothes.
Danielle said: “I’m absolutely thrilled.
“It’s a perfect location, and its brilliant for Farleigh Hospice.
“It’s also fantastic for Witham, we’ve got so much support, and it’s lovely to see all the customers I know from our other shop and many new customers come here.
“It’s a lovely place to be.”
MP Dame Priti Patel visited the shop last Friday, and said: “I was honoured to join the wonderful team at Farleigh Hospice and visit the new furniture shop in the Grove Centre in Witham.
“As a long-standing supporter of the hospice, I was briefed on this new venture earlier this year and I pay tribute to Danielle and the team for all their work in getting this new shop open.
“I have seen firsthand the incredible care the hospice gives to its residents when I had the opportunity to visit earlier this year.
She continued: “When people shop and donate to Farleigh, they are helping to support a vital local service and charity which cares for people and their families at one of the most difficult times in someone’s life.
“My thanks go to Danielle, Sarah and the team at Farleigh Hospice for their inspiring work to help those in need of their support.”
