TWO people have been arrested on Maldon High Street after officers stopped a suspected stolen vehicle and were then arrested on suspicion of further charges.
The pair, a 25-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman both from Braintree, were arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
They were arrested on Maldon High Street.
They both remain in custody while our enquiries continue.
