POLICE have identified a man in connection to a collision that took place in Chelmsford last month, leaving a young girl with injuries.
The incident occurred on October 29 on Chelmsford high street, involving a young girl and electric bike.
The young girl was injured, and suffered bruising to her cheek and elbow.
Essex Police recently released images of a man they were looking to identify in connection to the incident.
The Police have since issued an update that the man has been identified.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We are no longer looking to identify a man we want to speak to in connection with a collision in Chelmsford where a young girl was hurt."
"She had been in collision with an e-bike in the High Street on 29 October.
"Following an appeal issued earlier today (Saturday 2 November) a man has presented himself to the front counter at Chelmsford Police Station.
"Our enquiries are ongoing.
"Thank you for sharing our appeal, it really does make a difference."
