MORE traffic delays have struck Braintree after temporary traffic lights have been installed for emergency water main repairs.
Anglian Water have been called to London Road, at the westerly entrance to White Court, after reports of a leaking main.
Emergency repairs are being carried out which have seen temporary traffic lights installed for workers’ safety.
The water company has assured road users that they plan for the road to be re-opened by the end of the week.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said: "We are sorry for any traffic disruption on London Road, Black Notley over the next few days.
“In order to keep everyone safe we have had to close the road so that our teams can repair a leaking main.
“All being well, the road will be re-opened by the end of the week.
“We would like to thank our customers for their patience while we complete this essential work."
