STAFF at a popular garden centre have been busy setting up its beloved Christmas displays, offering locals a magical setting for some festive shopping.

Located on Coggeshall road, Poplar Nurseries has been ‘at the heart’ of the community for over 80 years, offering gardening supplies, plants, outdoor ornaments, and home décor.

The centre stands on a huge site, featuring a children’s train ride, café, outdoor plants and furniture area, food court and vast parking area.

Staff always create picturesque scenes using fake Christmas trees, fairy lights and ornaments, as well as animated Christmas characters.

The centre offerings a range of baubles and ornaments in a number of colours, sizes, styles and themes.

In the ‘Christmas room’ there are picture points, including two velvet ‘Santa’ chairs where families can pose and take a photo.

The decorations and displays will remain at the centre until January.
