A dedicated 12-year-old volunteer is hopping throughout November to raise funds for life-saving equipment.
Isabelle Butler, a regular helper at The Witham Hub, is aiming to collect £150 for a new defibrillator.
This is part of The Hub's initiative to install 10 defibrillators in the town, with eight currently in place.
Isabelle will be 'Hopping for Hearts' throughout November, committing to at least 100 hops each day.
She aims to reach her target by the end of the month.
Isabelle said: "I have learned all about the critical importance of defibrillators in saving lives during heart attacks.
"It doesn't matter how old you are, you can have a heart attack at any age, making it all the more important that The Hub succeeds with its campaign target of 10 defibrillators in the town."
Isabelle plans to keep her supporters updated with videos of her daily hops on the Pay It Forward – Witham page.
The Witham Hub chair of trustees, Tina Townsend, said: "We are so grateful to Izzy for her fundraising efforts and for all the time she spends with us volunteering.
"She is an absolute model citizen, despite still being so young."
Each defibrillator cabinet costs more than £1,600, with installation averaging at £300.
They require an electrical supply to keep the defibrillator warm when temperatures drop below four degrees centigrade.
The Witham Hub notes that a defibrillator if used promptly, can improve the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest by up to 15 per cent.
Supporters can contribute to Izzy's campaign via her JustGiving page, justgiving.com/crowdfunding/hopping-for-hearts.
