An investigation has been launched after a teenage boy was assaulted in Braintree.
Essex Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident on Sunday, October 13.
The victim, a teenage boy, was assaulted by a man as he walked along Boleyns Avenue at around 6.15pm.
The boy reported that a man grabbed him and punched his face, causing him to bleed.
The man was described as a slim male in his 40s with facial stubble and short dark hair. He was wearing a blue coat and jeans at the time.
He was accompanied by two young children, one in a pram.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward or to supply information, CCTV dash cam or other footage in relation to the incident.
