X Factor sensation Olly Murs is having the time of his life, but still gets embarrassed when fans ask for autographs.
The Witham lad has been overwhelmed by the amount of support his has received back home.
On Saturday, he made it safely through to the next round after his crowd pleasing rendition of Bewitched by Steve Lawrence.
The 25-year-old said all the dance moves were his own and had been perfected during nights out in Elements in Witham and Chicagos in Braintree Freeport.
He has also received a lot of praise from his creative director Brian Friedman regarding his moves.
“He said I’m probably the most accomplished performer in the group," said Olly.
Olly said he was still getting used to be recognised in the street and signing autographs.
He said: “I’m a bit embarrassed really. I’m only Olly Murs. I don’t feel like this celebrity." For the full interview see this week's Witham and Braintree Times.
