The Witham and Braintree Times has teamed up with Mama Dell’s cafe in Witham to offer a special promotion on the ‘Olly’, a mouthwatering breakfast named after the 25-year-old X Factor star.
Olly, of Carraways, has been such a hot topic as regular customers sip their tea and satisfy their hunger, that owner Simone Iorizzo decided to urge Witham residents to ‘vote with their mouth’.
Take a copy of the Witham and Braintree Times into the Newland Street cafe tomorrow and receive £1 off the Olly - which Simone says have been a huge hit, just like the X Factor front runner.
“We feel we are the biggest supporters in the town,” she said.
“We did a credit crunch breakfast but people are fed up of the credit crunch and don’t want to hear about it. Everyone is talking about Olly and most of our regular customers watch the show and come in to talk about how well Olly has done.”
Simone said Olly used to work across the road and he would often pop into get coffees and sandwiches.
Staff at the family owned Mama Dell’s are also now wearing T-shirts with Olly emblazoned on the front.
