The first local authority school in Essex to be rated "outstanding" by Ofsted this year has celebrated its official opening.
Chipping Hill Primary kicked off the celebrations on Tuesday, May 24, with an official opening by Lord Petre, followed by a party to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, which MP Priti Patel attended.
The school, which dates back to 1902, moved from its old building in Church Street in January to a new location in Owers Road, off Maltings Lane.
