A clip of Tom Holland from his new series The Crowded Room is going viral on Twitter with around 100,000 tweets mentioning him and a sex scene that he performed with another male actor.
Fans of the Spider-Man actor have lauded his versatility in the new Apple TV series, The Crowded Room.
The Apple TV series also stars Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, and Sasha Lane. It follows Holland's character who is arrested following a shooting at Rockefeller in 1979.
Holland, 27, has since revealed he is taking a year-long break from acting after the role "broke him".
He plays Danny Sullivan in the thriller, a young man who is arrested on suspicion of committing a bone-chilling crime and reveals details about his alternate personality disorder during interviews with an interrogator, played by Seyfried.
One of the character‘s other personalities is a woman named Ariana, who has an intimate scene with a man during one of the episodes.
Viewers shared their thoughts on Twitter after watching the episode, praising Tom for his 'exceptionally brilliant acting' and 'diversity'.
One person wrote: "I really love tom holland’s diversity on a serious note like he’s so open to all roles and that’s what we need in Hollywood these days."
"Tom Holland actually is one of my favourite actors so versatile," another added.

"The Crowded Room is done so brilliantly, once someone is shown as a victim of mental health and not made out to be totally crazy!!"
