KELVEDON salon Hairlounge 47 has defied all the odds by winning the UK Retail Salon of the Year 2019 at the prestigious British Hair and Beauty Awards.
The awards recognise exceptional salons that make a real difference to their clients and community.
Prominent judges included best-selling author and beauty business expert Liz McKeon, Sophie Stapleton and founder of boostmysalon Carey Faulkner.
Hairlounge 47 was nominated for four awards - hair salon of the year, retail salon of the year, manager of the year for Caroline Lane and stylist of the year for Lisa Barnard - and won in all the categories entered.
Salon director Wasif Khan said: “All of Kelvedon have been celebrating our amazing success as we have put our village on the hair fashion map.
“We work so hard to be amazing in everything we do and make our clients and community happy.
“These awards recognise this and as a team we are overjoyed.”
