Braintree Town have some injury concerns as they look to make FA Cup history in Wales tonight.
The Iron travel for a first round replay to Newport County and will be looking to take their place in the second round for the first time ever, but may have to do without some key members of their squad.
Boss Alan Devonshire said skipper Kenny Davis and defenders Alan Massey and Sam Habergham were all “doubtful” for the game.
Davis turned his ankle over and had to come off at half-time in Saturday’s 3-1 Skrill Premier defeat at Alfreton Town, while Massey is still recovering from concussion suffered after the first meeting with Newport two weeks ago and Habergham is returning from an ankle problem.
Devonshire will also be without new centre-half Exodus Geohaghon as he joined the Iron after the initial first-round tie so would be unavailable for the replay.
But even with a fully-fit squad, Devonshire knows progressing to face Kidderminster Harriers in the second round would be tough.
He said: “Newport are a different animal at home.
“They have won their last two since we played them and they will be hot favourites, but we are going there with nothing to lose and we won’t fear it at all.”
Meanwhile, Braintree goalkeeper Nathan McDonald will be linking up with the England C team as they prepare to face the Czech Republic's under-21s in a friendly at Woking tonight.
