Goalkeeper Nick Hamann will not be back at Braintree Town next season.
After two campaigns with the Iron, the German-born former Chelsea trainee has signed for their Vanarama National League rivals Woking.
Hamann was offered the chance to return to the Miles Smith Stadium for a third year by new manager Danny Cowley, but he opted not to take that option up.
The 27-year-old made 76 appearances in his two seasons at Braintree and helped them keep 14 clean sheets last year.
Braintree do have former England C keeper Nathan McDonald coming back, though, folllowing his season-long loan at Ryman League premier division side Enfield Town and Braintree Academy coach Carl Pentney, who made two first-team appearances at the end of last season, has been asked back for Iron pre-season training.
