Braintree Town's pre-season friendly against Southend United is ON tonight.
There had been doubt raised whether the game, which kicks off at 7.45pm at Cressing Road, would be on earlier this week after the arrival of a group of travellers on land close to the Iron's stadium.
However, chairman Lee Harding said those fears had been removed as some of the travellers had already left the site and notice to leave had been issued to the few that remained.
Harding said: "There's no problem as some of the vans left last night and enforcement has been served today on the others so the problem seems to have dissipated.
"We should be OK."
However, the Iron's pre-season game that had been scheduled to be played against a Reading XI on Tuesday has been cancelled because the Royals cannot field a team due to injury concerns and having a limited number of players registered.
Harding said there were no plans at the moment to stage a replacement fixture, but said Monday's trip to Heybridge Swifts, that had been due to be a squad game, may now be upgraded to a full team fixture for the Iron.
